The History of Indian Cuisine has always fascinated me….. I have always wanted to share how indian food has gained immensely from its interaction with foreigners who came to the subcontinent as migrants, traders and invaders –India’s 5,000 years of rich history, has had multiple influences on how indians cooked their meals… We have during the course of our history welcomed a multitude of settlers, each having their own ingredients, spices, utensils, techniques, and recipes, And we have adapted all these influences in our cooking … leading to our food being rich, and diverse in its culinary customs, ethnic influences and flavors.. .. I want to showcase this beautiful amalgamation through my cooking to the discerning south korean food lover…. Who has till now only thought of Indian Food as being Butter Chicken and Dal makhni!!
I strongly feel india’s unique cuisine has also been influenced by our access to almost any spice that is In existence… from chilis, to cinnamon, to mustards this has led to the creation of different types of masalas.. which have been use in our cooking, leading to the creation of lip smacking delicacies.. . This fascinating history that goes behind each and every dish that is being made in indian kitchens needs to be told and shared.. and I am sure food lovers in South Korea need to know these facts!!

And Last and not the least I want my customers to also experience the traditional Indian culture that represents a dynamic guest-host relationship.. with “Atithi Devo Bhava” I am sure South Koreans would love to know that we Indians consider and treat our guests as God.. and my restaurant is going to be a prime example of practicing what we preach. I truly believe, if we treat our guests well,… and fulfill all their requirements and expectations we are building customers for life.. and giving them an experience they will cherish!
